Antminer S19 XP Hyd ទល់នឹង Intel BMZ1៖ តើមួយណាល្អជាង?

  • Globe’s greatest producer of Cryptocurrency mining rigs, Bitmain, launched a latest liquid cooling mining rig, claiming to be most efficient to this date.
  • Recently, Intel shared technical details for its first-gen BMZ1 (Bonanza Mine) blockchain accelerator chip, which it recently commenced taking orders for.
  • Cryptocurrency mining is a process of mining blocks of crypto assets. This process usually takes a lot of power and is not considered eco-friendly.

Antminer S19 XP Hyd

The latest Antminer S19 XP Hyd boasts 255 TH/s of computing energy at 20.8 joules per terahash of power efficiency, operating on 5304 watts, as per the official website of Bitmain.

Per unit value for this mining machine remains under $20,000 and will ship in Q1 of 2023 as per its site.

Its power efficiency closely surpasses Bitmain’s former best, the Antminer S19 XP, which brought up 140 TH/s at 21.5 J/T at just $11,620, and contender MicroBit’s Whatsminer M30S++, which provides 112 Terahash per second at an efficient rate of 31 J/TH.

Hydro Cooling rigs are modified to be utilized in Bitmain’s self containers. Cooling liquid is a process of utilizing liquid-like coolant traveling through pipes to emancipate heat to keep the device cool.

The organization also declared the latest container, titled ANTSPACE HK3, that can contain 210 machines and eat up 1 MW of energy.

Back in January, Bitmain made an announcement for Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd., its initial rig containing liquid cooling, delivering up to 198 Terahash at 27.5 J/T.

Intel BMZ1 Blockchain Accelerator Chip

Intel released technical information regarding its 1st generation BMZ1 blockchain accelerator chip at ISSCC.

The computing mammoth also released the latest 3,600-watt mining rig consisting of 300 BMZ1 chips.

The initial thing to notice regarding the BMZ1 chip is that it is an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), which means it is modified to conduct particular tasks — in this case, crypto mining — with a performance that is reportedly much times better than any other in terms of mining, per watt of power, than a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).

Overall, BMZ1 is anticipated to save a myriad of energy. And stacking 300 of them to turn it into a 3,600-watt mining rig generates a machine with a system hash power of 40 T/s.

This is not as robust as Bitmain’s 5,445 liquid-cooled miners, but Intel claims that BMZ1 chips are the cleanest and strongest in the market.

BMZ1 has already received various high-profile preorders, in particular from Block, a transaction organization owned by Jack Dorsey, and from Argo Blockchain, a cloud mining pool.

There were reports that Intel has signed agreements that include BMZ2 chips, which will undoubtedly be more powerful than the current.

តើមួយណាដែលត្រូវជ្រើសរើស?

Both Antminer and BMZ1 ASIC chips are able to conduct crypto mining, but Antminer S19 XP Hyd seems to be more robust in contrast to Intel’s BMZ1.

However, pricing details are unavailable at this time, so folks can choose to check out Antminer S19 XP Hyd on its official website, and grab their hands on it.
