Gavi ច្រានចោលសំណើបន្តកុងត្រាថ្មីរបស់ FC Barcelona ដែល Liverpool ទទួលបានបួនដង

FC Barcelona star Gavi has rejected the club’s first contract renewal offer, which Liverpool are willing to more than quadruple.

The 17-year-old currently takes home a measly €100,000 ($107,000) a year, which makes him the lowest paid regular first team player by some stretch after breaking through to the senior fold at the start of last season.

Now a fully-fledged Spain international, who recently became La Roja’s youngest ever goalscorer, Gavi is a free agent just over 12 months from now in June 2023 and has no end of potential suitors such as Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

Such is their interest, the European giants would reportedly be willing to pay Gavi’s €50mn ($53.5mn) release clause despite not having to part with a penny in summer next year to acquire his services.

Gavi is adamant on staying at Camp Nou, however, it is said, but his camp headed by former Barca star and agent Ivan de La Pena have turned down the Catalans’ opening renewal offer of €2mn ($2.1mn) a year.

Doubling Barca’s current proposal, they want to see the Seville native paid €4mn ($4.3mn) in the first year, €5mn ($5.3mn) in the second year, €6mn ($6.4mn) in the third and then have his salary renegotiated depending on the quality of his performances in the fourth.

ឡា Porteria says that Gavi currently has at least two offers from the Premier League, one of which has been made by Liverpool with the second from another unknown club which could be Chelsea.

More than quadrupling Barca’s numbers, the Reds are said to be willing to table €9mn ($9.6mn) a year for Gavi to switch allegiances.

Yet as said, Gavi and his clan – and especially his father – are very clear that the youngster should renew in Catalonia and succeed at the club he has been with since 11 years of age when joining from Real Betis.

Should Gavi finally renew terms, Barca want to attach a €1bn ($1.07bn) release clause to his name as they did when Pedri signed on the dotted line until 2026 and Ansu Fati until 2027 last autumn.
