បទចម្រៀងថ្មីលេខ 1 របស់ J-Hope ជួយឱ្យគាត់ចូលរួម Top 5 ដ៏មានកិត្យានុភាព

After debuting at No. 2 on last week’s World Digital Song Sales chart, Crush and J-Hope’s “Rush Hour” climbs to the peak on the tally this time around. As it does, Crush earns his first leader and J-Hope ups his career total, and in doing so, he joins a very select group of South Korean artists who have proved themselves to be some of the most successful in American history.

“Rush Hour” is J-Hope’s fifth No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, which ranks the bestselling “world” tracks in the U.S. The BTS member is now just the fifth South Korean musical act to reach five champions, and he’s in some truly incredible company.

BTS leads the charge when it comes to which name has secured the most rulers on the World Digital Song Sales chart. The seven-member vocal troupe has scored an incredible and record-setting 32 leaders, including their most recent, “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” which led the tally in June 2022.

Coming in behind BTS is another group, Blackpink, who are now up to nine No. 1 singles on the World Digital Song Sales chart. The quartet is easily the most successful South Korean girl group in the history of the list, and they’re safely in second place on this ranking. As the band doled out their sophomore full-length កើតពណ៌ផ្កាឈូក just a short time ago, they secured two more No. 1 hits, with both “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down” rising to the throne. In fact, “Rush Hour” replaces “Shut Down” atop the World Digital Song Sales chart, as that tune kept J-Hope’s latest from ruling last time around.

With his five leaders, J-Hope is now tied with both Psy and BigBang for the third-most No. 1 singles in the history of the World Digital Song Sales chart, at least when looking solely at South Korean stars.

Both Psy and BigBang landed new No. 1s this year, while J-Hope has more than doubled his total showing in just the past few months. In 2022 alone, the BTS star has sent three tracks to the peak position on the World Digital Song Sales chart–two of which he led, while the latest comes to him thanks to his featured role.

J-Hope first hit No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart in 2018 with “Daydream,” and he followed that up a year later with the Becky G collaboration “Chicken Noodle Soup.” It would be three years before he returned to the driver’s seat, and in 2022 his tracks “More,” “Arson,” and now “Rush Hour” have all taken turns running the show.
