Hutchinson testified that she had a conversation with Rudy Giuliani, then former President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, as she walked him out of the White House on January 2, in which Giuliani told her “we’re going to the Capitol” on January 6.

Hutchinson said the conversation left her confused, so she went to Meadows, her boss, to ask about January 6, who informed her things could get “real bad.”

John Ratcliffe, the former director of national intelligence, also expressed concerns January 6 could “spiral out of control,” according to Hutchinson.

Hutchinson testified the plans for a rally and what she called “tentative movements to go to the Capitol” left her “scared” and “nervous” leading up to January 6.
