Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo and Jung Ho-yeon, stars of the runaway hit ហ្គេមមឹក, attended the 27th Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The actors helped present awards at the ceremony and took home two awards for their series.

The Netflix original Korean drama received three nominations: Best Drama, Best Foreign Language Series and a Best Actor In A Drama Series. Lee won the award for Best Actor, while ល្បែងមឹក won Best Foreign Language Series. The award for Best Drama went to ទទួលបានភាពជោគជ័យ.

In the Best Drama category, ល្បែងមឹក also competed with Evil, For All Mankind, The Good Fight, Pose, This Is Us និង យែលជែក. In the Best Foreign Language Series category, the competition was Acapulco, Call My Agent, Lupin, Money Heist និង Narcos: Mexico. Lee was nominated for Best Actor alongside Billy Porter in បង្កើត, Sterling K. Brown in នេះ​គឺ​ពួក​យើង, Mike Colter in Evil, Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong, who both appear in ការបន្តពូជ។

ល្បែងមឹក previously made awards show history by becoming the first non-English series to be nominated for a SAG award. The drama took home three prizes. Lee won the Outstanding Performance Male Actor In A Drama Series award. Jung won the award for Outstanding Performance by A Female Actor In A Drama Series. The cast also won the award for Outstanding Action Performance by Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series.

Written by director Hwang Dong-hyuk, ល្បែងមឹក follows a group of desperate debt-ridden individuals as they compete for a cash prize while playing a run of potentially deadly children’s games.

The Critics Choice Awards recognizes the best films and television shows in a given year, voted on by the members of the Critics Choice Association.
