Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was reportedly arrested Friday morning in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, about 100 miles from Philadelphia in the Pocono Mountains.

Kohberger is expected to be extradited back to Moscow, Idaho, where the University of Idaho is located.

Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, were stabbed to death inside the house where the first three victims lived near campus in Moscow, Idaho, during the early morning hours of November 13, according to police. Police believe the two surviving roommates and their dog slept through the killings on the first floor of the home. For weeks, police were unable to locate a suspect or a murder weapon, but made a break in the case in early December when they asked the public to help find a white sedan that was spotted nearby at the time of the murders. The killings sparked fears of a repeat attack among students, many of whom fled to their hometowns and enrolled in classes remotely following the murders.
