Now we’re getting a little bit of both—an action hero / classic sci-fi robot is headed to ការហៅកាតព្វកិច្ច: Vanguard និង តំបន់​សង្គ្រាម in Season 4. Terminator—played by Arnold Schwarzenegger—is coming to the games soon, though Activision hasn’t spelled out an exact date.

The reveal was made on Twitter.

Earlier today, the Call Of Duty Twitter account posted a picture with a bunch of gold bars and one silver bar. The theme for upcoming Season 4 is Mercenaries of Fortune, and loot and treasure feature largely in the promotional campaign. The silver bar had some letters on it, though they were quite faint.

Still, it was obvious enough that the word was SKYNET and that was confirmed later with a tweet that also read ‘they’ll be back’—riffing off of Arnold’s classic line. Skynet, of course, is the company responsible for the AI gone bad in the Terminator films. Whether we’re just getting a Terminator Operator or any other characters from the films remains to be seen.
