Well I’ve come down with my first cold of the season. I was hit with ye olde coronavirus back in June. This time around it seems to be a more old-fashioned malady, unless my test is reporting a false negative which is always possible.

COVID, of course, just felt like a bad cold to me so this isn’t too different. Fever, sore throat, cough, congestion and brain fog and low energy. I’ve still managed to get some work in but writing with this much brain fog is not something I’d recommend!

Still, even with all that I managed to solve today’s Wordle in three guesses, which I thought was pretty good. Let’s take a look, shall we?

I’m not sure why the word ព្យាយាម popped into my head. But once it was there I figured, why not? Two vowels and three pretty common constants. I wasn’t expecting it to be នេះ good of an opener, but today it got me down to just 18 remaining possible solutions.

ខ្ញុំ​គឺ រស់រវើក ពេលណា​ រស់រវើក ended up being incorrect, but fortunately for me I only had one possible solution remaining, and with just a little tweaking—swapping the ‘V’ and the ‘L’—it became quickly apparent what the right word would be: មានសុពលភាព

Now I feel less រស់រវើក និង​ច្រើន​ទៀត validated. Huzzah!
