The Ukrainians have also received intelligence inputs on expected Russian troop movements based on America’s assessment of the Russian military’s battle plan for its offensive in the eastern Donbas region.
The Ukrainian military has claimed that it has killed at least 12 Russian generals on the front lines, but the U.S. officials did not disclose how many of these kills were a result of U.S. intelligence.
The report adds that the intelligence sharing effort has had a decisive effect on the battlefield, by helping confirm key targets identified by Ukrainian forces and sharing new targets.
